Happy End-of-October! Here in State 48, our temperatures finally broke this week! Beastly hot went to gorgeous in the span of 24 hours, but that’s life in the desert for you. For this month’s Psychology Book Tasting, I was drawn to books that involve setting boundaries in one way or another. I review the book Happier Hour which is all about setting time boundaries. The title of another book, Set Boundaries, Find Peace pretty much says it all. And I pull out a book from my past, The Power of a Positive No, to remind myself of the greater Yes that can empower any No I might deliver.
For Life Between the Pages, I transport you to a bookshop on a barge in London. And, I share some snippets from my grandson’s first months as a reader. (Scroll down for two bonus videos at the end of this post!)
