My college students are on my mind this month as I transition from the relaxing rhythm of summer to the frenetic drumbeat of a new school year. My August book choices reflect the straddling of these two worlds. I picked up the book Generations for a window into my Gen Z and Millennial students, and I read The Teachers to help better prepare my educational psychology students for the current realities of the profession. But pure summer bliss was reading the memoir Do Something when I was in New York, in between cuddles with my new grandson. Below are links to this month’s book celebrations:
